Kedarnath is at an altitude of 3584 m. A magnificent temple
was built by the Pandavas at the base of Kedarnath peak's southeastern face, and millions of pilgrims now come here
to offer their prayers to Lord Shiva.
The trek starts from Gaurikund, Where there is a hot water
Sulphur Spring. While approaching Kedarnath, we pass through
stately forests and come across some beautiful waterfalls.Kedarnath
to Vasukital is a continuous ascent, and a great trek. The
view of Chaukhamba Peaks and Mandakini Valley is a wonderful
from here. Vasukital Lake, about ½ kms in
radius, with crystal clear waters will possible take you
into an immediate trance.
ITINERARY:-
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival met at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 02: Delhi - Haridwar
Morning transfer to the station time to catch train for
Hardwar. On arrival met at the station and transfer to the
hotel. Evening free to explore the hardwar.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 03: Haridwar - Gaurikund
We drive for 230 km to reach Gaurikund. Hot lunch en route.
Upon arrival in Gaurikund transfer to Hotel.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 04: Gaurikund - Kedarnath
14 kms trek to Kedarnath with packed lunch. Upon arrival
in Kedarnath, check into the Hotel
Overnight: Hotel
Day 05: Kedarnath - Vasukital - Kedarnath
We undertake an 8-km trek to Vasukital with packed lunch.
In the afternoon, trek back to Kedarnath.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 06: Kedarnath - Garuikund
14 kms trek to Gaurikund with packed lunch.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 07: Gaurikund - Rishikesh
209 kms drive to Rishikesh.lunch en route. On arrival at
Rishikesh check in at hotel.
Overnight: hotel
Day 08: Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning sightseeing tour Rishikesh in the evening transfer
to hardwar station time to catch train for Delhi. On arrival
at delhi met at the station and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 09: Delhi - Departure
Morning sightseeing tour of the Delhi in the evening transfer
to the Airport time to catch flight for onward destination.
