Booking
For any booking through internet, we need an advance payment
of at least US$ 100 per person (non-refundable) 2 months
prior to trip date to book any tour. The full payment must
reach us 45 days prior to the arrival date. We do not guarantee
the trip without the advance payment.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due
to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified
of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective
from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation
charges would be as follows: -
45 days
prior to arrival :10% of the Tour / service cost
30 days prior to arrival : 20% of the Tour / service cost
20 days prior to arrival : 30% of the Tour / service cost
07 days prior to arrival : 50% of the Tour / service cost
48 hours prior to arrival :100% of the Tour / service cost
Liabilities
& Limitations
We take
the responsibility of providing the services as per the
contract of the package tours under normal circumstances
only
All tour and land arrangements are subject to our inability
to provide the same as a result of acts of God, acts of
governments or authorities, wars, hostilities, civil disturbances,
strikes, riots, epidemics, quarantines, delays in construction
or completion of hotel or facilities or as a result of any
other causes beyond our control. We incur no liability to
provide any services confirmed, if such inability is due
to any of the causes listed above and no refund shall be
made. In case of any additional service provided because
of above situations or flight delay/cancellations or on
request made by the clients, we would charge the difference
amount directly (unless otherwise advised by the agent).
We reserve rights of changing the itinerary for smooth operations
or to enhance the guest experience. In case of alternation,
omission due to reasons beyond our control (although every
effort would be made to provide the services as per the
schedule) will not be liable for any claims.
We will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, accident,
death, injury etc; of any nature.
There shall be no refund in the event of flight schedule
changes, delays or cancellations causes shortened trips.
The costs are based on the prevailing airfare, tax structure
& entrance fees. If there is any change, it will be
charged extra.
Travel
insurance:
A travel insurance policy is vital if you go trekking. While
most general travel insurances cover you against sickness
while on a trek, not all cover you for emergency evacuation,
which could run into many thousands of dollars if a helicopter
were required.
Garhwal Trekking do not offer travel insurance policies,
however we strongly recommend that you apply for one covering
mountain rescue and emergency evacuation.
Flights:
Garhwal Trekking do not offer international flights.
However, we arrange any domestic flights as per the tour
requirement. We will require all information or documents
needed to reserve your flight upon receipt of your booking.
Group
composition:
Garhwal Trekking promotes independence and flexibility,
and will not ask you to join a pre-arranged group. Any adventure
you choose will be tailored to your own individual needs,
and you will travel either with your companions or alone.
We also offer fixed group departure tour for people, who
want to join the group.
